Things can be harsh in the music world and sometimes all a kid wants to do is make it and sometimes that’s not really quite enough.
Twelve bands are on tour, a tour that could send any of them catapulting into fame and will land at least one of them a record deal. The band range in ages, sizes and home base location. And most defiantly in style of music. It’s a diverse bunch of bands with a diverse group of people. Some are really in it for the fame and are fighting their way to the top, to get the most fans, the most applause, to kick the most ass. Some are treating it like any other tour, something fun, exciting, life changing but not something cut throat. Some are on the fence.
The right to perform on the main stage and the order of performances are determined by how well the band performs in their shows and the feedback any of the audience members give on a special sight set up by the directors of the tour. So each band has to try it’s hardest to get on top or stay on top. It’s a weird combination of music tour and Survivor, so sit tight and play your best.
So listen to the screams of the fans (or the screams of the music), listen to the drum beats, the guitar rifts, listen to it all. You can hear a group of girls trying to claw their way to the top (and maybe their crew trying to do the same), a rock duo laying back and having fun, a nasty little rumor spreader, a band where the rumor may actually be try, friends fighting, alliances being forced, priorities being reorganized. If you listen close enough you can hear it all.
